The Loving Hearts Legacy

A Journey of Love, Inclusion, and Community

Loving Hearts Legacy - Hands joined in unity

Loving Hearts for All (LHFA) began as a small circle of dedicated parents with one shared vision — to create a world where every neurodiverse child feels accepted, supported, and celebrated.

What started as a few families coming together became a movement of compassion, creativity, and lifelong connection.

Founders Who Led with Heart

The Leadership of Rani Yednapalli & Mona Asthana

Under the guidance of President Rani Yednapalli and Co-President Mona Asthana, LHFA blossomed into a thriving parent-led organization.

Rani’s vision and energy brought creative community programs, family celebrations, and hands-on engagement for children.

Mona’s calm leadership and insight shaped the movement and coordination programs that built trust and unity among parents and children alike.

Together, they transformed LHFA into a living example of how parents can lead change with love.

Growing Together Through Every Season

From early family gatherings to structured programs, LHFA evolved into a supportive haven offering music and movement classes, cooking and story time, and yoga and social skills.

When the world shut down during COVID-19, LHFA stayed active — hosting virtual cooking classes, online talent shows, and yoga sessions that kept families connected and hopeful. Even from home, our community grew stronger.

Building Joyful Traditions

LHFA has always believed that joy heals and community sustains. Year after year, families celebrate life through Easter, Christmas, and Halloween events, bowling sessions, family outings, and talent shows. These gatherings became the heartbeat of a hybrid day rehab model — blending fun, friendship, and learning into everyday life. Children learn, parents bond, and everyone grows together.

From Vision to Reality

From Vision to Reality

As families evolved and their needs expanded, Rani and Mona recognized the importance of creating a lasting space where children could continue to learn, connect, and flourish beyond home and therapy settings.

This vision gave rise to the Loving Hearts for All Day Rehab Center — a dedicated environment for neurodiverse children and young adults that extends the LHFA legacy of family-led compassion, transforming years of shared experience into a sustainable, nurturing future.

🎯 Recreational & Leisure Skills

At the LHFA Day Rehab Center, recreation is more than play — it’s a pathway to confidence, connection, and growth.

Coordinated Movement & Yoga

Coordinated Movement & Yoga

At the LHFA Day Rehab Center, movement and mindfulness come together through gentle dance, stretching, and yoga-based activities. Guided by experienced instructors, these sessions improve balance, posture, coordination, and emotional regulation. Participants learn to move in sync, focus their breathing, and express themselves with confidence and calm — a program loved by families for its soothing and lasting benefits.

Special Needs Gym

The Special Needs Gym provides a safe, inclusive space where each individual can move at their own pace. Adaptive equipment and guided exercises promote strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination. Music for the Mind and Heart

Music for the Mind and Heart

Music has always been central to Loving Hearts for All, offering powerful ways for individuals to express emotion and connect. Weekly sessions led by professional music therapists and volunteers help participants explore rhythm, melody, and creativity in a supportive setting. Music fosters communication, memory, joy, and collaboration — promoting both relaxation and self-confidence.

Talent Shows

One of LHFA’s most cherished traditions, the annual Talent Show began during the COVID lockdown and has grown into a joyful community celebration. Each participant, regardless of ability, gets a chance to shine — through singing, dancing, art, or creative expression. These shows build confidence, self-esteem, and pride while showcasing the unique talents of every individual.

Bowling, Outdoor Games, and Board Games

At LHFA, fun is learning in action. Through bowling, outdoor sports, and classic games like chess and carrom, families and participants build friendship, teamwork, and communication skills. These activities teach patience, sportsmanship, and connection — turning shared laughter and play into lasting bonds within the community.

  • Prepare simple, healthy meals
  • Explore diverse cuisines
  • Practice kitchen safety and teamwork
  • Build independence through daily routines

Nursery Visits & Therapeutic Gardening

In partnership with SAIVA.org, Loving Hearts for All organizes nursery visits and gardening sessions that offer calm, focus, and emotional balance for children, young adults, and older participants.

Through therapeutic gardening, individuals learn to:

  • Care for plants and observe growth cycles
  • Engage their senses through soil, texture, and scent
  • Build patience, responsibility, and daily routine

These experiences are evolving into structured vocational opportunities — where participants can create garden crafts, nurture plants for sale, and take part in community garden projects that blend therapy with purposeful work.
